Why Whanaungatanga is Important

Whanaungatanga is important to me because i feel like a part of a Family.

When I’m at home I feel loved by Family and pets and

I feel safe. At home I play with my little brother, we play with the toys.

At school they take care me and there are a lot of Friendly people I can play with and I can make new friends and get to know their names. I feel whanaungatanga at school and I am a part of a group.

At my friends house they are friendly they let me eat with them. We go to a McDonalds and then we eat  at the park. Then after that we play at the park we have a lot of fun. I play on the flying fox, and then the swing.

Whanaungatanga makes me feel happy, grateful safe and welcome. Whanaungatanga is having a family being welcome and it’s feeling like a part of a family. Whanaungatanga is important to me.
